This online course prepares healthcare professionals to manage pediatric emergencies, including respiratory and cardiovascular arrests.

Convenient Updated Training for Pediatric Advanced Life Support Online

It is crucial to note that our online PALS certification training is distinct from ACLS training, which focuses on emergencies involving adults. The topics covered in this course include pediatric assessment, adequate resuscitation and respiratory management, pediatric treatment algorithms, basic life support, and defibrillation techniques. We provide free study materials to help you prepare for the certification examination.

In 2020, the AHA revised its recommendations, which remain in effect until 2025. Our certification course will address the changes to the guidelines specifically. Notable updates include:

Temperature control and fever management in specific scenarios,

Acceptable use of amiodarone or lidocaine for certain treatments,

Elimination of routine atropine administration, and

Re-evaluation of fluid resuscitation.

Please note that our course materials discuss these modifications in greater detail and should not be relied upon solely when treating pediatric patients.

If you fail to pass the initial exam, you should review the pretest materials until you understand the skills required for pediatric advanced life support interventions.

After passing the certification exam, an electronic certification provider credential will be emailed to you, and a hard copy will be mailed shortly after. Please note that certification credentials are only issued to students who pass the exam. This ensures that providers are always aware of any new regulations.
